My Go-To Skincare Routine

As a skincare fanatic, I can say there’s always one staple routine. The one routine that covers all the bases and you can slap on before heading out or passing out. While I do try and greatly enjoy other products, these are the ones I grab because I know they work.

Kate Somerville EradiKate Daily Foaming Cleanser -$38

I received products from Kate Somerville’s EradiKate line back in the summer. Acne and I have a long history, so I was excited to see if the products do work. Spoiler- they do. Every day and night I use this cleanser and automatically my skin feels refreshed. This cleanser removes the yucky dirt, oil, and makeup from my pores. Additionally, it works to help reduce breakouts which is what we all want.

Thayers Witch Hazel Alcohol Free Toner Lavender- $7.99

This cult favorite is a favorite for a reason. I always use a toner to help make sure my face is completely clean and my pores are closed. Thayers toners are a must-have.

Kate Somerville EradiKate Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment -$58

Have you ever had that moment when you were tempted to smear spot treatment ointment all over your face? Because I’ve been there. Luckily, Kate Somerville’s acne treatment allows that urge to disappear. The cool thing about this product is a.) it works overnight b.) can be applied all over the face. In other words, it helps to not only reduce blemishes, but it also prevents them from popping up. Every night before bed, I make sure to apply a thin layer because my skin responds so well to it.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum-$25 (I believe that’s the proper conversion from 103.5 RM to USD)

This serum has been in my routine for so over a year. I simply cannot live without it. It’s my go to daytime serum because it’s so lightweight, but oh so hydrating. It’s everything you could ever ask for in a serum because it also works to help reduce redness and leaves you with an amazing glow.

Algenist POWER Recharging Night Pressed Serum - $95

Algenist is a company that never fails to impress me. Yes, the price may not be the nicest to your budget. However, some products are worth the price tag. I use this serum at night and I let it melt into my skin. Firstly, the slight coconut scent is wonderful. Secondly, my skin receives a rush of hydration every single time which is why I keep coming back to it. I noticed after a few days, my skin felt so refreshed and plump.

Belif Moisturizing bomb-$38

This is my lifesaver during the winter. While I have acne-prone, combination skin, this cream floods my skin with hydration. Instantly, my skin is super soft, smooth, and super dewy. If you’re looking for a cream that’ll give you the “glass skin” look, you’ll become obsessed with this product.

Spot Treatment

Kate Somerville EradiKate Acne Treatment -$26

As said earlier, I have always used spot treatments for my acne. Kate Somerville’s acne treatment is very similar to Mario Badescu spot treatment. I simply dip a q-tip and apply it to any blemishes. I do this when I see a spot at night. In the morning, the blemish has dramatically gone down in size and redness.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater-$7

Lastly, another cult favorite. Mario Badescu’s facial sprays are super affordable and kind to the skin. I always give a spritz after applying skincare and even makeup. It’s also an amazing pick-me-up to use throughout the day to rehydrate your skin. Plus, the smell is simply amazing.
